While named a ‘Light Roast’ for classification, this profile is actually tailored for the unique, earthy Sumatran bean (Wet-Hulled process) which requires a specific development to manage its low acidity and heavy body, avoiding the grassy notes of an underdeveloped light roast.

MEDIUM ROAST

This profile is designed to highlight the complex fruity, floral, and acidic notes typical of a naturally-processed Ethiopian bean, while still offering enough development for a balanced sweetness.

DARK ROAST

This profile targets a full body and rich, caramelized sweetness, pushing the Colombian bean further into the Maillard and Caramelization stages to develop chocolate and smoky notes while managing bitterness.

HOW TO MAKE
